Earlier in the semester, on 14 June 2025, IBCM hosted a full-day entrepreneurship-focused event at the Think Lab, further expanding the employability framework under AL4LIFE.
The morning session introduced to students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including business ideation, Business Model Canvas development, value proposition design, customer segmentation, and market validation.
Alumni entrepreneurs guided participants through structured exercises, encouraging strategic thinking and feasibility analysis.
In the afternoon, learning transitioned into application during the Start-Up Ideas Fair. Students presented their business concepts before a panel composed of alumni entrepreneurs, local business representatives, and faculty members.
Evaluation criteria included innovation potential, market relevance, feasibility, and presentation quality. The top three ideas were recognised and awarded certificates, with additional promotional visibility provided through the IBCM Alumni Platform.
